Does anyone use demand force? I see a lot of the top 200 salons do. Any thoughts?

We have been using it at two of our salon/spa locations for the past month. We are very impressed with the results so far.. the key is to have your clients email address and cell phone numbers in order for the program to be most effective.

Permalink Reply by Jazmine on February 9, 2012 at 11:01pm Thanks for the reply! I have been considering it, but the 12 month contract scares me.... You plan on keeping it then? We do have most of our clients emails already, so hmmm decisions...
Permalink Reply by Chris Richards on February 10, 2012 at 5:02pm if you can afford it, i would... it may even cut back on some other expenses since you can email clients from within the program instead of using constant contact or other email programs to notify clients of promotions..
i think you would need to use it for 6 months to get a real feeling for whether it is going to work or not anyway.. but that being said, getting your clients used to text and email appointment confirmations, and then stopping them if you choose not to continue after 12 months, may not go over well...
it is a big decision and a big direction to head down.. if you do, i would use the program to its fullest and use all of the options it has to maximize your return...
Permalink Reply by Tabitha Diamond on March 15, 2012 at 1:38pm We've been using it at both our locations for just over a year now. We love it! All of our communications are done through it (minus the clients that prefer a personal phone call). We send out email campaigns, newsletters, book appointments and do our confirmations through it. It also allows us to see what campaigns and promotions work, what newsletters people read, etc. The reviews and surveys part has proved invaluable. It gives clients a neutral platform on which to write whether it's positive or negative. If it's a negative review it automatically flags me, the General Manager, so I can respond immediately. Our ability to resolve issues with our clients through this has allowed us to keep clients we may have otherwise lost. We even organized a large charity drive through it when we had the horrible wildfires here in Texas. It was so successful our clients forwarded our campaign to their friends and family and before we knew it, we had people from all over towns bringing stuff in! I would say definitely make the investment. It's worth it.
