Recognize & Feature Your Employees Using your Salon's Facebook Page!

What do you use your salon or spa’s Facebook page for? To advertise your promotions, to educate your clients, to get word out about your salon?

Well, how about to recognize and show appreciation for your employees, or to feature them on behalf of your salon or spa?

Facebook is perfect for employee recognition and appreciation!

why???

***because it’s free!

***but mainly because many, if not all, of your employees are already on Facebook, and many of them have hundreds of friends on Facebook.

Recognizing your employees where they already “hang out” has a more meaningful effect. Keep in mind that the average age of Facebook users is 38, for Twitter is 39, and for LinkedIn is 44. So don’t use the excuse that social media is only for kids!

Don’t forget, when you highlight an employee, tag them! Do this so they see it, but also, so that everyone on their friend list including friends and family sees it, which will add to the recognition of your employee.

A great way to show your employee your appreciation, which will, no doubt in turn, build their business, and yours!

Always ask the employee beforehand to ensure they are comfortable with being recognized or featured on your Facebook page, as this may not be for everyone.
